Terms of Service

Draft for legal review. These terms have not yet been approved by qualified counsel. Items in [square brackets] must be completed before publication. Signed service agreements take precedence over these website terms.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, to services provided by Alhaan LLC (“Alhaan”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or services you agree to them. Services are provided to businesses only.

2. Website information

Website content is general information, not an offer. Service availability, coverage, specifications and prices are confirmed only in a written quote or agreement. Sample configurations shown on the website are illustrations, not products.

3. Accounts and verification

We may require company verification, identity documents, credit checks or deposits before providing services, and may decline applications at our discretion. You must keep account information accurate and credentials secure, and you are responsible for all use of your account.

4. Customer responsibilities

  • Use services only for lawful purposes and in line with applicable telecom, consumer-protection and data-protection laws in every country where you send or receive traffic.
  • Secure your own equipment, PBXs, SIP credentials and servers against unauthorised use. Charges arising from compromised systems on your side remain payable.
  • Provide accurate caller ID and comply with CLI rules.
  • Ensure your own customers comply with these terms if you resell services.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use the services for:

  • Fraud, including artificially inflated traffic, IRSF, wangiri or SIM-box activity where unlawful.
  • Caller-ID spoofing or misleading caller identification.
  • Unlawful robocalls, unsolicited bulk calls or messages, or calls to numbers on applicable do-not-call lists without a lawful basis.
  • Harassing, threatening or illegal content.
  • Hosting malware, phishing, spam infrastructure or content that infringes others’ rights.
  • Attacks on networks or systems, including scanning or denial-of-service.

We may block traffic, suspend or terminate services immediately to prevent fraud, abuse, legal violations or harm to our network or partners.

6. Telecom service availability

Voice routes, numbers and coverage depend on third-party carriers and regulators and may change. We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service unless a written service-level agreement says so. [Confirm whether any SLA is offered.]

7. Numbers, registration and documentation

Phone numbers are subject to the rules of the issuing country and carrier. You must provide truthful end-user information and documents when required. Numbers may not be activated until approved, and may be withdrawn if requirements are not met, if a regulator or carrier requires it, or if numbers are misused. Numbers are assigned for your use and are not owned by you; porting is subject to local rules.

8. Call recording and consent

If you record calls, you are responsible for notifying parties and obtaining consent where required by law.

9. Marketing and messaging compliance

You are responsible for consent, opt-out handling, calling-hour restrictions and sender registration for any marketing calls or messages you make using our services.

10. Hosting services

Hosting is provided with our data-center and infrastructure partners. Unless management is agreed in writing, you are responsible for the operating system, software, security updates and backups on your servers. IP addresses are assigned for your use and remain subject to the allocating registry’s policies.

11. Fees and payment

Fees, rate sheets, billing increments, payment terms and notice periods for rate changes are set out in your quote or agreement. Disputes about charges must be raised within [period] with supporting call examples. [Confirm.]

12. Liability

[Limitation-of-liability clause to be drafted by counsel.]

13. Suspension and termination

Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable agreement. We may suspend services for non-payment, suspected fraud, breach of these terms or regulatory requirements.

14. Governing law and disputes

[Governing law, jurisdiction and dispute-resolution provisions to be confirmed by counsel.]
